Chris Carboni is an award-winning director, designer, animator, and illustrator.
A Brooklyn, NY native, Chris attended the Rhode Island School of Design on a Presidential Scholarship, earning a BFA in Film / Animation / Video. Shortly after graduating, he was hired to direct content for The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Coca Cola, and Sony. He now has over a decade of experience working with clients across a broad range of industries, some of which include Marvel Studios, Facebook, Google, AT&T, and Adult Swim.
In between commercial projects, Chris can be found in his Brooklyn studio creating short films and music videos, many of which have screened nationally and internationally at museums, educational institutions, film festivals and commercial venues. His recent work on the film Spider-Man: Homecoming received many accolades, including the 2017 Motion Award for Best Film Title, and his past work has been broadly recognized by a number of media outlets including Indiewire, Stash, Cartoon Brew and Buzzfeed.
Chris’s design aesthetic is simultaneously fun and sophisticated, and his greatest creative joy comes from telling stories that feel personal yet connect with a large audience. Armed with his passion for storytelling, visual communication and a fine arts background, Chris brings a diverse skillset to every project he takes on.
