Antonio Santos

Antonio Santos is a director and published photographer. A son of a multicultural family born and raised in rural Virginia, he moved to New York City in 2008 to challenge his artistic understanding. It was three years later when he decided to help a close friend create and manage a production company and creative agency with its roots in Brooklyn. For six years, Antonio served as one of the company’s creative directors, overseeing a wide variety of projects while also working directly in all facets of production. He has production designed, produced, art directed, edited, photographed, and directed. He later realized his true passion was for directing and photography. He has worked on shoots with musicians, artists, and celebrities — ranging from commercial, documentary and feature films — directing large personalities like Shaq to producing films for high-profile events like the Met Gala. He is a true collaborator, as he has always felt that the richest creative ideas come from stories in which shared and diverse experiences have the opportunity to be conveyed. From his moody street-style photography to the multifarious tones of his directed pieces, Antonio has been able to work across a variety of genres and styles, from contemplative documentary, to fashion as well as comedy. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter where you can often find him shooting photos of bugs and plants.
