Pedro Piccinini

Pedro is a graphic designer at his core however he’s just as passionate about finding different ways of telling fluid stories. He began working in award-winning designers, animators and creative shops throughout Brazil where he has lived for the majority of his life. He was honing in his skills as a young artist producing on both digital and physical mediums such as paper illustration and stop motion, spending the extra hours putting together comics and zines with personal work to finally find his passion in animation. Shortly after graduating, he decided it was time to pick up and explore what the design industry had to offer in Europe before recently settling in Brooklyn, NY.

His short film ‘Grab My Hand’ won “outstanding animated short” at New York Children’s Film Festival, Scad Film Festival, DC Shorts among others, as well as being short-listed at the academy in 2021 in several festival circuits in 2021 both nationally and internationally.
